Proseduuri and Finnpilot have been working together for several years, and Finnpilot has been using Jeeves since 2004. Jeeves was chosen as the enterprise resource planning system at that time because the price-quality ratio was good and the system had functionalities for the future as well. This was very important because Finnpilot’s goal at that time was to digitize and automate its financial management as much as possible.
“Jeeves was the most affordable of the versatile systems. It had functions for the longer-term future and versatility. Jeeves already had capacity for financial management automation and digitization at that time”, says Finnpilot’s financial planner Markus Lehtilä.
Based on Lehtilä’s experience, Jeeves is more flexibly adaptable compared to other ERP systems.
“It is an advantage that making changes is easier”, Lehtilä notes.
The cooperation between Finnpilot and Proseduur has mainly consisted of daily Jeeves support, which has included tasks such as modifying the appearance of invoicing. Lehtilä praises the quick response to service requests.
“The service is fast and flexible. Usually, we have managed to handle the most critical issues within the same day. Our business requirements and schedules have been taken into account well”, Lehtilä comments.
Proseduuri has also built interfaces between Jeeves and Finnpilot’s systems to make everyday life easier. Proseduur has expertise, especially in creating Jeeves interfaces to Finnpilot’s largest system supplier’s systems. For example, most of the invoicing data comes directly from the Pilotweb system to Jeeves, and an interface has been created to OpusCapita in Jeeves.
Recently, Proseduur also moved Jeeves to the Azure cloud and updated the system at the same time. The transfer was successful, and all functions were quickly operational after testing.
“Proseduur handled the transfer to the cloud very well”, says Finnpilot’s CFO Timo Siren.
After the transfer, Proseduur created a financial management method description document that describes all the systems and their interfaces with each other.
“Proseduur’s documentation side provides good added value. The document was comprehensive and versatile. We can plan new systems, for example, when we see what kind of interfaces there are and how the systems relate to each other”, Lehtilä describes.
Finnpilot has remained a partner of Proseduur, among other things, due to its reliability.
“Proseduur is a reliable and stable player. They have given the impression that they can also look into the future”, Lehtilä summarizes.
Siren praises Proseduur’s responsiveness.
“The weight of our cooperation lies in how well the supplier reacts to any emerging issues or development needs. There is no complaint about working with Proseduur in that respect”, Siren concludes.
